WARRANTY POLICY

Last Updated: June 20, 2026

At DIFINE Jewellery, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create. For your peace of mind, we provide a 365-Day Manufacturing Warranty on eligible jewellery purchased directly from us.

1. What Our Warranty Covers

This warranty applies exclusively to verified manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that were present at the time the jewellery was made and become apparent during normal use within the warranty period.

A manufacturing defect refers to a fault that results directly from the original production process. All warranty claims are carefully reviewed and inspected by DIFINE Jewellery before coverage is approved.

Examples of issues that may be covered include:

  • A stone becoming loose due to a defective setting.

  • Prongs failing because of a manufacturing flaw.

  • A verified defect in the metal or assembly of the jewellery.

  • A clasp or fastening mechanism failing due to a production defect.

Please note that a loose stone, worn prong, bent ring, dent, scratch, or damaged setting does not automatically indicate a manufacturing defect. Many of these conditions can develop through everyday wear, accidental impact, pressure, or improper handling and may not be covered under this warranty.

All claims are subject to inspection and final assessment by DIFINE Jewellery.

2. What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Scratches, dents, surface marks, or worn finishes.

  • Bent, stretched, or misshapen jewellery.

  • Accidental damage or impact.

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care.

  • Stone loss resulting from wear over time.

  • Damage caused by snagging, pressure, force, or improper handling.

  • Third-party repairs, resizing, plating, polishing, soldering, or alterations.

  • Damage resulting from declined maintenance or repair recommendations.

  • Jewellery that has not been properly maintained or inspected.

  • Loss, theft, or disappearance of jewellery.

  • Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, swimming, showering, exercise, sports, sleeping while wearing jewellery, or improper storage.

3. Complimentary Inspection & Cleaning

During the warranty period, we offer one complimentary professional inspection and cleaning service by appointment.

This service does not include repairs that fall outside warranty coverage, such as replacing stones lost through wear or impact, repairing accidental damage, or restoring worn prongs.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 10 days of discovering the issue and provide:

  • Proof of purchase.

  • Clear photographs of the issue.

  • Photographs of the complete item.

  • A brief description of when and how the issue was noticed.

  • Confirmation that the item has not been repaired, resized, or altered by a third party.

Once received, we will review the information and advise on the next steps.

5. Non-Warranty Repairs

If your item is not covered under warranty, we may still be able to assist through our repair service for an additional charge.

Examples of non-warranty repairs include:

  • Re-tipping worn prongs.

  • Replacing stones lost due to wear or accidental impact.

  • Repairing scratched, bent, dented, or damaged jewellery.

  • Repairing items that have been altered or serviced by third parties.

A repair estimate will be provided before any work is carried out.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, customers are responsible for:

  • Retaining proof of purchase.

  • Following recommended jewellery care guidelines.

  • Inspecting jewellery regularly for signs of wear.

  • Obtaining authorization before returning any item.

  • Using tracked and secure shipping for returns.

  • Avoiding unauthorized repairs, resizing, or alterations.

  • Following any maintenance recommendations provided by DIFINE Jewellery.

If recommended maintenance or repair work is declined, any subsequent damage related to that issue may not be covered under this warranty.
